Lol...I so, know what you're talking about. It's real crazy. I've laid out on my trampoline starring at that. I even slept out there one night with a friend of mine. We woke up with mad bug bites though.

I hope no ones messing with us...It's so damn pretty. I'd rather it be a dream.

Recently, there were many debates approximately how a long way out a galaxy honestly extends to. The crisis is that once we appear at a galaxy, what we see isn't all that we get! A (spiral) galaxy consists of a bulge within the core and a flattened disk surrounding the bulge - those are the add-ons of the galaxy that we will be able to see via telescopes. But that is now not all a galaxy consists of: there are globs of darkish topic (topic that we cannot realize with average gazing approaches) that we name the "halo" of the galaxy. Now how do we all know that every one this mass is there if we cannot instantly see it? we do not see 50-ninety% of the mass that is honestly there! Astronomers do not relatively agree on how a long way this "darkish halo" is going out to - it sort of feels to move on and on and on. So that is why you pay attention approximately plenty of debates and theories approximately wherein a galaxy ends

I live in the mountains when on very clear nights the sky is lit up with stars, and you can even see the milky way. But in regards to your question as a child I remember being very afraid of the moon because it always seemed to be following me. I got over that though.
