Once you have a clean shower curtain, spray it after every shower with Clean Shower. This has worked great for us, when we spray the tiles and tub, we simply spray the shower curtain as well. So far, it works! Hope this helps

You can use a tile cleaner on it and make sure you leave it spread open after using the shower. I notice there's a disgusting mold smell when it's been left closed to one side.
The other thing I do is use two shower curtains, the pretty one on the outside, and a cheap, clear one on the inside that can be thrown away periodically.

You can wash your curtains even if they are vinly. Take 2 large towels and your curtain and wash them in the washing machine, Add Bleach to the wash, If you can"t use bleach, Then use some Vinegar and remove the mold from the shower curtain and then wash as usual.

Wash the shower curtain. Like anything else it needs to be cleaned. If it's made of vinyl you can soak it in the tub with a mild cleaning and scrub it clean. If it's material you can throw it in the washing machine. Like anything else that is exposed to water, it should be opened up after use so that it can dry between uses.

I use the kind made of material. Periodically, I wash it in the washing machine, with bleach. It comes out completely mildew-free. If I used the vinyl kind, I would take it down and scrub it in the bathtub with some cleaner that has bleach in it because even when you spin-dry the vinyl kind in the washing machine, water gets caught in the folds and it drips all over when you take it out.

After every use keep your curtian as striaght as possible with good ventilation. Also put it in the washing machine on warm w/ laundry soap. That should make it look new again.
