For a more simplistic/traditional look I would say strappy silver heels (comfy ones for dancing). No necklace, halters are designed to highlight and enhance your neck, so you don't need to make it all busy or break the flow with necklaces:

(the gold satin is so pale it looks more like an off-white, but shimmery)

For a more funky/sassy look, really play off the fact that you have such a great neutral palate to play with.
A great funky colorful heel:

As for jewelry, again no necklace but great dangling earrings, and fun funky bangles:

And switch out the boring old white sequin clutch for something really fun:

Well hope this gives you some ideas at least, good luck and have a great time at prom!

No, don't cut your hair! Long hair girls unite!

okay, as for accessories:

Metallic strappy shoes. A colored wrap might be nice to contrast with the dress. I'd do some braceletts and chandelier earrings (in the same metal as your shoes.) You could get some fun accesssories for your hair, too, but then keep the rest of your jewelry simple. I'd advise a metallic handbag, you'll be able to use it with other outfits.

i dont know about the shoes, but clear always works.
or you can STAND OUT and go bold with the shoes like turquoize and match accessories.

ive always liked an UPDO with halter dresses for formals.
maybe you can pull it off, I would recommend Porn Star Hair. Go get finger waves

Gold jewelry, metallic gold strappy sandals. A loose french braid for the hair, with some tendrils of hair escaping to frame your face. A white orchid in the hair.

Go to a formal dress store and get clear heels with rhinestones. Silver or gold jewelry will go well. For a formal evening I suggest keeping the jewelry dainty and just the bare minimum.

i'm with Hopper52, gold earings would look wonderful with your skin tone. but i suggest pinning some of your hair back b/c if your going to be dancing its going to get in the way. if you have nice feet, then go with clear shoes. if not go for something that is closed toed.

If you know how to walk get some sparkly stilettos, I wear them all the time they add a little height to you and try some sparkly jewelry but make sure it don't take away from the dress.

I'm not sure about the shoes, but i think that you should definetely cut your hair just alittle at least, i mean to the tailbone is a little too long.

i might positioned on strappy crimson. till you like the peep toe look, or need an extremely severe heal. i think of a crimson pump seems a splash too risque. Jewel tones are nonetheless in. Any colour might look good. in case you do no longer comprehend the bride i might flow on the conservative area of life. purely because of fact her variety might desire to be conservative and something like crimson patent leather-based pumps might desire to get a splash too plenty interest.
