I meant like an actual placement service. We are on monster already. Like Kelly Services, Manpower...that type of place.

These are the most effective job sites:

* Craigslist.org for Wyoming - http://wyoming.craigslist.org/

Craigslist is the site specified the most often in the last year as the one someone used to successfully find a job. And, since it is organized by location, it's a good source of local jobs.

Craigslist is a giant online classifieds site, broken up by location. For each location, employers post "jobs" and "gigs" (which are short-term jobs, like project assignments, that may tide you over until you get a real job). Pick your location from the lists of states and cities on the right side of each Craigslist home page. For tips of using Craigslist, read - http://www.job-hunt.org/onlinejobsearchguide/article_guide_to_craigslist.shtml

* Indeed.com - http://www.indeed.com

This site is a central source for finding job opportunities listed. Indeed is a "job aggregator" which collects jobs from job sites (like Monster, HotJobs, and CareerBuilder, but NOT Craigslist) as well as from employers, newspapers, etc., so you go to one central place to search for the jobs and cover more sites than you even know about.

I just did a quick Indeed search on "wyoming" and it found 6,594 jobs. Some of those will be duplicates (employers do post jobs on more than one job site), but that's a good starting point. Just add your keywords, and you'll have a great selection of opportunities.

* Wyoming Department of Employment - http://wydoe.state.wy.us/

The state of Wyoming employment office has jobs posted and also lots of information about the Wyoming job market.

* Job-Hunt.org - http://www.job-hunt.org/jobs/wyoming.shtml

With over 8,300 links to employers and career resources, Job-Hunt will help you identify possible employers and also job search networking and local support groups to help you with your networking. The Wyoming page, linked above, has over 100 resources for jobs and careers in Wyoming, including over 50 employers. Check it out.

We live in MI and are also thinking about leaving for another state with a better economy. If you own your home, good luck selling it. We've had houses on our block for sale, under priced, for months.

Check the local newspapers of the cities you are thinking of moving to. Just look up the local news with google.You can contact prospective employers and you can also check out the real estate available there. You might also want to check the Wyoming state web site. Usually, a state will have job listings and other info geared toward helping people move there. Good Luck!
