Focus more on explosive power and footwork, in either of those two positions your first three steps in a given direction often make or break you, so those are the ones you need to focus on. Work on jump rope, do a ton of plyometrics (dot drill, quick foot ladder, box jumps, hurdles about a foot off the ground) Also do work on your core because all of your power transfer from your arm drive when running and the strength for your entire body comes from there. Generally you don't want to squat everyday, you really shouldn't squat more than twice a week. You also need to work on explosive leg power like power cleans, push jerks and snatches to develop that initial explosion. Make sure you vary your sets and reps every two weeks so you don't plateau out, start high weight low reps(3-5) and gradually over the span of a 6-8 week cycle work to higher reps (12-18) and lower weight. Get a good stretch in before and after to keep up flexibility start with static stretching and then work up to dynamic stretches (high knees, butt kicks, Russian walks, etc.).

One thing above all else make sure that your form in every exercise you do is perfect. Trust me when I say you'll get a ton more power from squatting 5 reps of 225 and going to 90 degrees with your hips and knees then 10 reps of going down to 60 degrees and popping back up. Drop your weight if necessary, the weight will come much faster eventually if you get the form down now.

first put on some calf weights. then find a very big hill and sprint as fast as u can all the way up, and jog ur way down. this will help you a LOT with breakaway speed and will hopefully help you in the game.

Well.... many confer with motorbikes (bikes) as Iron horses. I might have a tough time determining among a speedy motorcycle and a are living, speedy horse. Cars are too confining.

pump your arms while you run and wear calf wieghts but bulking up generally slows you down so develope a good streching regime
