Movies like Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Lion King, Little Mermaid, Snow white and the seven dwarves ..... Those movies are classics with great songs. Why are all the Disney movies in CG and with no songs ?

Yeah, well you're pretty stupid too. Princess And The Frog is a modern Disney princess movie. One day the movies Disney is producing now will be classics. They just don't seem that way at the moment because they're new & don't measure up to the others, although they're just as good, because of the nostalgia factor older movies have. As technology grows in movies, so do styles. Black & white gave way to Technicolor. Hand drawn gave way to CGI. Your children & children's children will have the movies of our generation to cherish. It's been that way ever since film was invented. People older than you have used the "Why don't they make good movies anymore" speech long before you have.

With the failure of films like "Treasure Planet", Home on the Range" and "Valient", the last of the Eisner shackles are being shaken off, but that doesn;t affect things in the pipe line.
Hopefully, "Frog princess" (from the folks of Little mermaid fame) should turn it around

because they are making sequals to them... and other stupid movies. i dont think they made a whinnie the pooh movie in awhile and how come you never see mickey mouse anymore? last disneymovie i saw him in was the first A Goofy Movie i kinda miss the classic characters

because sadly times change and they are trying to reach out to what's "popular", and Walt himself isn't there anymore and I'm sure over time a lot of people that made Disney so great aren't around anymore.

Exactly! I really loved all the old ones, and I thought the new one;s sucked. I thought it was just cause I was getting older and growing up. But now I know someone else feels the same way I know it's just cause they suck now.

well, technology is the answer to your question... i know how u feel.. and i even hate the way they have to kill off important or characters whom people like to see or hope to see them alive throughout the movie.. it's not like that anymore... it's more to.. u die i come to age or u die i will be a better person.. some sort of this things..
