how would you feel if a friend puts you down and they say mean things behind your back??? well how would you like it when YOU really do hear things they said behind your back? what would your first reaction be or what would you do when your friend, best friends, say mean things about you. what kind of friend are you expecting, whoever picks the best answer is the person with great choices and picks ALWAYS the best friends to hang.... MOST OF all if your friends smokes what would you do?

If they are being unreasonaly bitchy behind your back and you dont like it. Well dont include those people in your life, only include positive people that will bring you forward in life. My best friend did that to me and I didnt really know what to do and eventually we grow apart.

Friend, a friend doesn't talk behind your back no matter how mad they are, they confront you and tell you, a friend backs you up doesn't put you down. Friend is the one that listens when they are high and then you tell them the next day how you saved them from drowning cause they had no idea they fell in a pool, if your friend smokes ask why, then just tell them that now it won't hurt them but later in life they will miss out on the good job, career, girlfriend, wife, partner a good life won't come till it is to late.

i think everyone will surely feel bad when they know someone's been saying bad things behind their back. if your friends are doing practices such as smoking then tell them not to and be a good example, just stay good or if they don't listen to you then find another set of friends. there are plenty of fishes in the ocean, you know. It's their lost not yours. they're not true friends if they talk behind your back.

I'll give you my standard answer. Friends grow up in different directions and at different rates. If these so-called friends are now being kinda mean to you, it's only because you have grown up and they didn't! You're way above their league now, move on and don't look back. Now if they are able to catch up to your higher level, then maybe you all can be friends again. Be cool.

True friend do not say anything behind someones back that they would not say to that persons face. Sound like your "friend was not a true friend after all ! I would drop them like a hot potato--but you know what they say--Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer !!! Use your instincts to help you decide what to do.

well, i ignore it because it isn't true. I look for other friends who don't pull me down. Also tell them straight on that what they're doing is wrong. i really choose my friends well so my best friend would never do such things. if a good friend of mine smokes all i can do is encourage them to stop. but i can never force them to stop.

well, if the guy /girl is really a good friend of mine, i should look into myself and see if those mean things he/she said about me are really true, so if they r true, i'll try to fix my faults, and then go talk to him/her about not telling about my bad doings or faults infront of others before telling me about them, it really depends on lots of things, like is that person really my friend and cares about me? and on what purpose did he/she say those things?
personally, my friends never talk behind my back with bad stuff, because they r my FRIENDS, and ppl who do that are not my friends at all, u should really choose who to hang out with and never make ppl ur friends or trust them before really knowing them enough...

well i had a friend (not a close one) that would talk sh!t about me and my other close friends and well when i found out i was suprised to hear it because i saw her as a sweet and caring friend but she was nothing but a sh!t talker so i just didnt talk to her anymore i didnt want to start drama about it...if one of my friends smoked i would try to talk to him/her and tell him/her that its bad for you and its messing up our friendship and if he/she doesnt stop i would just talk to him/her one last time and say "im sorry...but your smoking and my friendship dont get along...i"ll see you later"
