If the question is how they adapt to being on display. then I would say that
They tend to be lazier due to lack of need for hunting.
The primates tend to pick up human traits. And they learn that certain things they do will get them more attention
And the dorsal fin on whales actually folds over when in captivity

elephants have long trunks to be able to reach down to the ground or up in the trees to get food and water

alligators have short legs so that they can easily submerged themselves underwater to hide from their prey, and their eyes are on top of their head so they stay above water and stalk the prey

camels have large humps on their backs to store water since they live in environments where water is a rarity

Lions with sharp teeth and claws.
Giraffe with long necks to eat leaves on the trees.
Monkeys with hand that can grab on to branches.
And pandas that looks extra cute so ppl don't shoot them
