I've got my own music which cover many genres, but I haven't listened to Hip Hop since Chronic era Dre. To me rap is terrible right now. I've got techno, rock, that emo crap, old school hip hop, synthpop, metal, punk, indie, electro, freestyle, old school house, disco and funk... thanks for the help guys!

Actually, middle schoolers are really into "old school" music. They go wild for the 80's. I have to laugh because I'm afraid to tell them that I loved that music in the old days, because they would suddenly hate it - just because.
Play stuff from the High School Musical Soundtrack as well. They'll never admit they like it, but once it comes on at the dances, they all run out to dance AND sing.
