I've replaced rotor, distributor cap, plugs, plug wires. Not getting fire out of one of points comming out of distributor cap. Rest of the sparks are REAL hot

Check inside the distributor. You have to remove both the upper cap and the lower body to get a good view. On the distributor shaft, below the rotor, is a trigger gear. If you don't have spark only on one cyl, one of the teeth on that gear is missing. GENTLY pry it up and off its barrel pin and instal a new one.

is it the same one? or dose it alternate? if its the same one then u have something shorting it the wire is pinched or the mod is going bad and causing it to miss fire
