How is Wii Graphic compared to PS2? are the about the same or does Wii do better on graphic compared to PS2?

A 7 year old hardware compared to a 1 year old hardware...
Keep in mind, the PS2 came out before the X-Box and the Gamecube. Both the X-Box and Gamecube have better graphics than the PS2. The Wii's power is equal to about two Gamecubes. So, the Wii is at least twice as powerful as a PS2.
You have your answer right there.
HOWEVER
Compared to a PS3, the Wii should be trailing, BUT since the Wii's development tools are nearly identical to the way games were made on the Gamecube, while the PS3 is completely different from the PS2, it is a lot easier to tap into the Wii's potential for developpers since they are in familiar territory. The PS3's architecture is fairly different and developpers will have to learn how to work with this new type of hardware. In a few years, the PS3 will be a lot better than the Wii on the graphic side, but will it mean something considering the incredible success of the Wii?
Only time will tell.

Disadvantagesof Wii:
Graphics ain't that great but they are bearable
And that Wii flying out of ur hand thing
Less stock
Advantages PS2
I seriously dunno other than graphics point of view and why ppl like it so much
Easily available
Costs less than Wii
Disadvantages of PS2
this is now an older generation console......
I personally like the Wii.....just cuz its something new and unique

Go for the Wii. There's a larger selection of PS2 games but you're still looking at a more 'hardcore' demographic vs. the usual Nintendo demographic, so she'll find more games she's likely to enjoy on the Wii (unless she's more tomboy and enjoys hardcore stuff).

- Graphics and sound aren't much different than the Gamecubes. (Don't expect many games to look great.)
- Can't play DVD's. (This hurt's the system alot)

okay the wii has better graphics than the ps2 but in my opinion the ps2 is better because u can,t play many games on the wii unlike the ps2.(ps3 is the best)

wii doesn't have great graphics but it is the most fun to play because it is interactive
