please NO hip hop, rap, country, or freakin fall out boy type crap......i need metal, rock, or anything that sounds like it could eat you alive for a snack.........also any bands that aren't "big time" yet would be great!

Need to back and hear the classics. Black Sabbath CREATED metal, period. Then it evolved to AC/DC, MC5, Led Zepplin and Motorhead. Van Halen, Blue Cheer, Blue Oyster Cult are other kick butt rock bands. Pure Punk is personified by The Clash, The Ramones, New York Dolls, Dead Kennedys and Television.
Give these bands a listen and you will know what rock and roll really is!

U2 war and joshua tree, Santana Supernatural and Shaman, Box Set disc three, The Chain, fleetwoodmac, BECK is awesome, Quadrophenia who, Sublime's kinda reggae/rock but its okay, counting crows?
Fall out boy sucks, infact anything made after 2000 involving hip hop rap just plain sucks, European alternative, like coldplay and radio head which are very similar and mexican rock, like beck, santana are all great, but thats what I listen to

mushroom head, nine inch nails, system of a down, soul fly, fly leaf, creed, mariline mansin, and panic @ the disco are pretty cool bands try them out.
