Well, I know some about make up and I use the curler before the mascara, coz already know the damage that it causes. I always rinse out make up at night with "oil-based" make up remover and I don't use water proof, but when I use mascara like 2 lashes fall down per eye!!! It's that normal??? :' (

I'm not sure how many lashes are "normal" to like fall out, but when i use stuff on them i usually loose eyelashes if i don't rinse it out at night. which i usually don't cuz i'im lazy! lol. and it'll be like maybe at the most 5 and i freak! cuz yea eyelashes make u purrty . if u figure #2 tell me :) and if u were to use like a spoon and curl with that b4 u put on mascara u might get similar results, not sure i don't curl mine .cuz they dont fall flat .. i dunno

I'm not sure how many lashes a person loses naturally in a day, but I do know a few things about mascara and lash curlers.
first, when you're curling your lashes, make sure that you don't squeeze the curler so hard that it pulls them.
be sure to remove all eye make-up with a good quality eye make-up remover. my favorite is mary kay oil free eye make-up remover.
saturate a cotton pad with eye make-up remover and press it onto your lashes and hold it there for about a minute and then use the cotton pad to wipe away any traces of mascara that could be left on your lashes being careful not to pull at your lashes, but just wipe away the mascara.
Estee Lauder makes a mascara called More Than Mascara, and it's not only a great mascara, it has lots of conditioners and things that are good for your lashes. it helps condition and strengthen them. so that's a mascara you should probably be using.
remember, never pull at your lashes when removing mascara. always loosen it with remover, and then just wipe it off your lashes.
Hope this helps!

Well, I'm guessing you are using waterproof mascara. It is notorious for causing eyelash breakage. I finally found a mascara that is waterproof, but still leaves your lashes soft, so they don't break. L'oreal Featherlash Mascara is the best I've used. If you twist the mascara wand while applying, it acts as a brush or comb and will lift your lashes without damaging them. Also, eyeliner on your upper lid will make your eyelashes appear to be thicker give you a fresher, wider eye. One more thing that will help, always remove makeup before sleeping. Johnsons Baby Wash (the pink one) is very gentle on your skin, won't make your eyes burn, removes waterproof makeup and will make your face feel like a baby's butt!

Well I don't have answers to all of your questions, but I DO know that you should not put mascara on before you curl them, because it WILL pull out your lashes. Always curl them first, THEN put on mascara.

Also try using a mascara that isn't as damaging (like if you are using water/smudge- proof) try using something that is easier on your lashes, it will help. Use the water/smudge-proof for special occasions

they have heated curling irons for like 10$ and those help to mega curl the lashes. Also it's fine to shed a few lashes it just means new ones are growing in.

stop using your curler until your lashes grow back.
put vaseline onyour lashes it will grow back very quick. Your eyes lash last about 5 weeks then new one grows. so basikly you lose like 10 a day or so.
