Pop isn't really a genre of music. It's an abbreviated term that just means popular music. Shania Twain, Korn, Green Day and The Killers are all 'pop' music even though they are in completely seperate genres. That being said, I'd say the 3 most popular genres of music would be country, rap/r&b, rock.
Film genres are Action, Comedy, Drama.
