I have listened to both in the past. I hear both their slants from a mile away. Rush became more hateful as the Clinton years progressed so I finally turned him off for good. I look for the entertainment value, but could care less about their personal take on life as a whole myself.
You guys have more to offer than radio peronalities. Too bad some of you don't see that in yourselves. Most do though. You guys rock...

Sociopath psychology.....since only a sociopath can understand the logic of another sociopath like an alcoholic sharing with another alcoholic.....this is the logic you get from Rush Limbaugh.

Al Franken used to be funny.
It has been a long time since he strayed from biting, witty observations and into mean-spirited , baseless rants.
Limbaugh, I agree, began to swerve into that negative pattern a few years ago, but has mellowed considerably.
The obvious difference that comes to mind is that Democrats actually take a guy like Franken and act like he's a legitimate candidate for the US Senate!
Give me a break!
What will he run on, the 'Hate speech' platform?
Except for the fact that she is smarter and a far more talented writer, Franken is the liberal counterpart to Anne coulter...you don't see Republicans urging her to run for office, do you?

No, even whilst people yawn i do no longer. i like to play a sport with my associates the place somebody will yawn and we observed who yawns first. I in no way in many situations win except i'm sick with a chilly because of the fact i'm getting so drained that is as though I stayed up an entire week with a wink of sleep.

i laugh at them both. I read rush's first book though. I think since then, he hasn't been serious. I give him a B on the book though. the rest of his books are more humorous though
EDIT: peronalities is defined as a major butt hemorrhage

Al Franken is a genius. Rush is wrong. The things he says are just totally socially irresponsible and hypocritical. To be a fan of his, you probably have had a partial lobotomy in some point in your past. I do prefer him over (D)Anne Coulter anyday, however.

Actually, I consider you the Limbaugh of the yahoo answers political forum.
The difference between you and Limbaugh is that he explains himself. You just pop up on a frequent basis like an annoying field mouse who doesn't understand that winter is over.

I view Franken as a fool.
Limbaugh's words are to be heard then researched by myself to see how I feel. I am republican and we don't take commentator's words for gospel. There is a little thing called reading......
Liberals should try it sometime.

Are you talking about comedian Rush Limbaugh? I would hope they don't take his words as profound wisdom!

Sorry I don't listen to Al Franken or Limbaugh, I don't need a person who gets paid to spew garbage to tell me how or what to think. Just facts please and I do my own decision making.
Maybe that's why liberal talk shows don't survive or fair too well. We do our own thinking!
