how can i tell when i need to get a new bra?

You need a new bra when (1) it's worn out and the elastic is all stretched out and not giving you the proper support (2) if it's too tight and your cups runneth over, or the straps dig into your flesh. (3) If it rides up in back or in the front, or it causes bulges in your back or midriff. Go to a good department store that has a bra fitter and get properly fitted around your back and your cup size, rather than picking one up at a discount store. Sometimes your actual bra size could be smaller or larger than what you've been wearing. A properly fitting bra can make a big difference in your comfort and how your clothes look. Good luck!

Most people say every 6 months, but it depends on how often you wear that particular bra. If you wear it daily, it's going to wear out more quickly. Once it starts to lose elasticity, it's time for a new one.

i usually get new ones about every3-6 months they usually loose form and are not as comfy anymore. You'll know just by looking at them too.
