anybody ever saw an aparition or ghost? what did it look like..real ? was is 3 dimentional? did it speak?

One night my brother and I saw an apparition. We were very young, maybe I was three and he was four. We heard a drumming, and then in the corner we saw a shadowy figure in a hat and trench coat. We both ran into our parents' room.

The spooky thing is that recently I've read and heard accounts from other people describing the same thing.

I woke up at 3 am one morning an looked toward the door. There was a figure that looked terrified he was holding his hand to his face and pointing behind me. I looked behind me towards the window, then looked back at the aparition and he was gone. When I got to the spot where i saw him, it was very cold, I searched the whole house and found a closet to be very cold also. When you do see one, you will never forget it. I can still feel the coldness in the room and the tingle up my neck from my encounter. That was almost 10 years ago. I later found out someone had been killed in my apartment building 5 years earlier. I didn't know they hung around that long.

Yeah. I think it was some kind of spirit. It was like a mist with electric static. No words, just thoughts. Made me most uncomfortable.
I would not encourage such encounters. It is frightening.
I just remembered this. (Also, in Colorado Springs.)
I could have been hallucinating-- I handled all the unpacking during military moves. I stayed up around the clock, working.
I thought I saw and felt 3 or 4 contractors walking around and working on the house. We were the first owners. Because I saw these guys one night, at about 3 or 4 in the morning, I stopped unpacking and went to bed. It was WEIRD. This happened a year before the hitch-hiker.(above)
They were see-through, quiet and wore plaid shirts. Funny, that!

one time only...as a child when I was sad, in my bed, crying.

It didn't happen in a startling manner but as if it wanted to show itself without being too disruptive. peacefully..humbly and quietly.

The "apparition" appeared lightly,in the corner of my bdrm, then became more and more well defined:, staring at me so kindly for ? 1-3mins ? and then gently, gradually faded out and disappeared. It did not speak but seemed to subtly , almost imperceptively, move and it appeared "alive" to me for sure.. Had the most calm and caring, consoling eyes EVER-- they were so reassuring and memorable! Never had this experience since after 30 some yrs.

It was a full figure of Jesus, no lie at all. My dad was an atheist and told me it was a dream-but i can see it clearly to this very day!! DEFINITELY NOT A DREAM!!!
He did not speak , but those eyes said a thouisand kind words in its' long stare at me. I used to TRY to "conjure it up" after that, but it never did reappear...totally wierd!
I didn't become a Christian until just a few yrs ago, but that vision in my bdrm was always there and will always be there , until I see those eyes again,after my death.

My grandma lived with my mom for about six years. They had a small apartment set up for grandma in their basement. I was staying with my mom for about a month after grandma passed away helping with some final things and getting my own feet on the ground after my first child was born...
Anyway a couple weeks after grandma died I was walking into her apartment to do something. It was fairly late at night...
She had a lift chair that in the cleaning out the apartment process we had moved near the door and it was facing the door backwards. This was over seven years ago and to this day I firmly believe that I saw my grandmother sitting in that chair that night. I just saw the back of her head and it startled me so much I did not enter her apartment that night-though I now wish I would have just to see more and say final good byes etc...
That was the only time I have actually "seen" something though I have had dreams, scents, feelings etc.

no joke i was "raped" by a ghost,we had been renting an old victorian house,this was many many yrs ago,anyway after we had been there for awhile we started noticing strange things going on in the upstairs bathroom,things like coming home and the sink running,or the window open when it had not been before,nothing big really,at first,eventually these things started happening when we were home,we'd be eating dinner and the sink would turn on,the window would open by itself or the bathroom door would slam shut,freaky right? well we did a little research and it turned out that in fact a young woman had lived there in the 1920's she had killed herself in the bathtub (slit her wrists over a love gone bad) anyway right after my girlfriend took off with some other guy (i guess maybe the ghost girl thought we were kindered spirits) i wake up to the feeling and total sensation of having sex,im erect and could actually feel a body on me,i could feel being in her! i freaked,i couldnt move though it felt as though i was being held down or more like i was paralyzed unable to make my limbs work,i tried to scream make noise i couldnt,my mouth was dry and no sounds would come out,anyway eventually i succumbed to it so to speak,i climaxed the sensation went away and there i was wide awake and completely freaked out!,lol.it was no dream i can assure you of that.my other housemate at the time said that he had seen her on a few occasions,apparently my room was also hers in her living state so maybe thats why it was me instead of one of the other guys in the house,i dont know,its a very vivid memory for me though.and im a guy so it was kinda hot,lol...but all joking aside this is completely true and happened to me when i was 19.

Me, many times and sometimes you just notice them cause they appear like a living human. This experience can be notice especaillay in a remote areas where you know almost all the villagers. This also appear at anytime of the day but mostly when 6:00 PM begins, my really personal experience that makes my hair right not stand is during my trip homeward bound. this lady beside me is a starnger from the terminal bus until we reach out town. i able to offer some drink and snack to get us awake for 4 hours long drive, i able to know her name until she told me that she know me and that their house is just 1 block from our house. at frist i just think she's joking to me but then, when the bus passes this street where full of acacia tree she said she gonna off and even tell me she just arround. somebody from the back said please stop and i turn around towards the back and not noticinf that the lady beside me was dissapear and not even pass beside me, where i sat on the aisle side of the bus. kinda weird but just that she live on of those old acacias just about a corner from our home. That lady is a good looking and look like us. i don't know if i consider her a ghost or what but i think they are all the same and must be respected.

All the time! I constantly see shadowy figures out of the corner of my eye....and they always scare the sh!t out of me. Whenever I am alone in my house, or when its night time, I usually end up seeing them. I always thought that my mind was just playing tricks on me....but apparently not...
I'm pretty sure that these real. I don't know why I see them, or why they are constantly "haunting" me. None have ever spoken to me and everything that I have seen so far has only been 2 dimensional.

The ghost I saw patted my hair just as I was drifting off for a nap. I looked directly at him, but his back was turned to me because he was heading around the corner. He looked real, but when I got up to see him, he wasn't there. He was my only sighting and almost immediately I began to go blind; the others I have sensed but did not see perhaps because I was blind.
