Keep it. 1964 was the last year silver circulation coins were minted with a composition of .900 silver and .100 copper. In 1965 the composition changed to copper/nickel. At most it may be worth about $6.00 in a very high grade, meaning minimal wear.

I'm sure you can find another quarter. Put it away, it will never be worth less than .25, but could be more someday.

Keep it. Save it for your grandkids. They can give it to their grand kids. By then, it will be worth something.
