What is the definition of politics.like what do politicians do?....i can never get a straight answer on this....

It's the process of choosing who gets to make decisions, and the social negotiation that goes on to get what you want.
My dictionary says its the profession devoted to governing and to political affairs, and the study and practice of social relations involving authority or power.

It's just a way a select few wealthy people (politicians) get and retain power over the rest of us, promising any thing and delivering nothing. Politics is the game they play by splitting into groups almost in half so that nothing is guaranteed to happen, while blaming the other side.

Your mommy should be able to tell you. She plays politics with you on a daily basis.
Once you get her definition, imagine a radical muslim with a knife at your throat. Do you try to talk your way out of your predicament, or do you instantly attack and overcome the threat.
The answer used to be simple, now it has political implications, especially if your a lawyer with to much time on his hands or a guy named chi.

Politics = the art of screwing up a country by making stupid laws that benefit nobody but the politicians.
Politician = a professional liar who gets elected so he/she can screw up the country and get rich in the process

They are voted into office by the people to respresent the people in local and federal gov.'t.
Some actually do the job right, others are a waste of vote and money.
