I BIO count southern cavefish and the average is 40 - 45 mm the largest i have ever found is 58mm. I have researched this and have read they grow up to over 3 in. I don't belive it. what and where is your largest that you have found.

I would imagine not many people have seen a southern cavefish let alone measured it. We did a fieldtrip in southern Indiana and did find some but none were close to 3". It was several years ago but I'd say the largest didn't exceed 2".
