What an odd question! I suppose my intellect & way with words has gained some favour: I won numerous academic awards & medals throughout high school & university; I've had poems published in esteemed literary journals & even mentioned in the arts section of a national newspaper; I've had my songs played on the radio and I've had a few best answers here on yahoo which is nice! I'm healthy. I'm not wealthy. I work at a job I hate to pay my mortgage & I do the things I love (art & music) in my spare time. I wouldn't say that I'm very wise. In some aspects I'm quite foolish, but in other areas I've made sound choices and I have found the key to happiness (loving myself. It sounds so simple but many people never figure this out.) I am not lonely. As an artist & writer I tend to have a somewhat solitary nature but I always make time for people that I love (close friends & family) and I have my cat to keep me company! I am not under a doctor's care. Well, I do have to go back to the dentist to fill two cavities but that's about it...

Okay, I will be straight up with you. I have a high IQ and I'm not doing **** with my life. Basically because being smart or creative is not everything, it's nice, it's good. And I wouldn't change myself just to fit in, but it's very difficult to go through life with people that don't understand you. Most people don't even know I have a high IQ, and I certainly don't brag. I know they just think I am weird, and some even think I am stupid, because I can comprehend things they can not even begin to understand. But the older I get the easier it becomes to be proud of myself, and not feel the need to 'dumb down' just to fit in. And I'm working on the whole socially retarded thing, lol.

Well, it hasn't made me rich (nor do I rightly expect it to, until I'm underground); it has, however, earned me some respect that I wasn't really expecting.
