So many men for some reason think immunity to intimacy is something they should be proud of, which is a lie. I think men have feelings but they don't want to admit them because they're conned into thinking that it makes them less manly or some crap like that.

Yup, those of us that avoid it!!!! Intamcay is different than being alone (ask my parents, married for 30 years andhavent been intamate in 20) I choose to be with people and have a good time while we r together but I will never get married or have a long term relationship because I would rather experience more people and be provoked by the different individuals' mind. Not everybody has to be with one person some of us float and r happy doing it.

i don't know if immune is the right word. i have built a wall around my heart since it has been wounded so many times. Intimacy is dangerous and almost invariably causes pain. i think everyone enjoys intimacy...but for some of us the risk to our emotional well-being is simply too great. Arms length is close enough for me.

No..no one is. people can have an intimacy with inadimit objects such as your computer..on yahoo answers, 360..chat rooms...its all a form of intimacy

My wife is. She'd make the perfect nun. Matter of fact, the average nun would probably be a nymphomaniac compared to my wife, who is colder than the entire Antarctic ice shelf. You couldn't heat her up with a thermonuclear reaction.

yeah i could care less about intimacy, i worry about me first before anything else, call me selfish but it works...i am loving every minute the lord lets me live!!
