whats with the obessesion
you sounding like as if Indian cricket team was one of the best in the world and was beating every team in its path
your team had a very little chance
your team was too overrated
your cricket team needs a double dose of overhauling
your domestic cricket needs to be restructured
your team needs to get rid of oldies who are still occupiying the spot and not even performing
i bet indians are that kind of people who would blame their team for not playing and asking it to ban and still would watch the games when india starts to play and changes the tune entirely when team wins 1 or 2 matches
and thats why your team will never be one of the best team in the world untill things change within you and your country

Americans, who take sports quite seriously, have an expression. It is, "Wait til next year."
I would heartily suggest that you and your countrymen adopt it. What it says is that sports is an artificial environment, and the next season renews everything. We have arranged our sporting organizations so that this renewal is assured with measures such as giving the lowest-rated teams first refusal on the contracts of the best new players.
If your nation doesn't do such things, and if you think in terms of lifetime bans and ruined reputations, I'd suggest that you change your rules and philosophy. A four-year cycle of games is far too long: make it one year and be done with it.
