can death be beaten? the world war two vets that were depicted in the opening scene of saving private ryan said the only thing missing was the smell of death and of sulfer.I have heard nurses also say the have smelled death when I asked them about this they said it is diffrent then the smell of a dead body and that you can smell the smell when on the other side of the house these nurses care for elderly in the persons home. now that has given death a tangible aspect. this means death is a being. and if death is a being then it can be fought or out witted. all laws have flaws so there must be one here riht? also if death is a being he/she must have another dimension in were it must live or take the souls. thus if this is true then perhaps though forms of astrol projection we may be able to fight this supposed being. but if this were to be true would you body remain here on earth. this is a theory of mine I have documented proof. But i'd like to here input to validate or disprove it

They have mathematically proven that there are eleven parallel universes. I believe that one of them is where we go when we "die". In fact they believe that when two of these 11th parallel universes collide, a new physical universe is created. I do not believe that we actually die, our body just stops working. As to cheating death? I do not believe that our flesh can live past one thousand years even if we use the latest technology. All that can be done is to put off "death". Biblical records show that people have lived up to one thousand years.
In your question you seem to allude to beating death as a being. I do not believe that beating the messanger is beating death. I truely believe that when we understand what this being is, we will understand true fear, or we will understand true faith. Once you understand this, you will come to grips that we deal with these beings at different times in our lives.
I ask you, if you have ever had a tramatic event in your life where you could have died? If so, are you actually alive, or is this all a dream?

Maybe the nurses's "smelling of death" is actually sixth sense. Perhaps those who have spent a lot of time in hospitals have developed this sort of intuition for a patient's impending death. Death therefore is not necessarily a being. Perhaps it's just an inevitable phenomenon that can be predicted or sensed by the gifted.

No there is no way to beat death. Don't take this the wrong way but greater men and women then the people that are reading this have try to beat death but death always comes. Also There is no life without death so if you did cheat death techinically you wouldn't be living. Also to cheat death would to be going against the of all things. Death will always come no matter what. So you might as well enjoy your time amongst the living instead of wasting opun foolish ventures.

when the body starts to shut down it gives of a faint certain oder. There is no being. Its like when you sweet and smell. People who work around it all the time just recognize the smell. There is also a look of death, you can just tell when someone is getting ready to. And fyi that smell is only there when people are slowly dying, its not like you smell it when you are in the car right before a fatal accident. Which rules out the "being" theory.

The smell of death is quite well documented and it is a special smell of its own.
It comes from within and is spread by breathing it out.
It is the smell that comes when part of you has already dies and is decomposing.
People with cancer eventualy die from within and as we die we decompose even when still seeming to be alive.
I hope you understand what I am sying. Once you smell this odor of death it is too late to do anything about it.

In all seriousness, why dedicate suicide from a demise to a guy who by technique of no skill even knew you're cared about you? it really is their fault, now no longer michael jacksons. to each and each and each and each of the human beings that supposedly talked about michael jackson at an air port, there is a million michael jackson impersonators. i'm sorry i'm ruining this for you individual men. I think you're only fearing the reaper if you have somewhere undesireable go!

My 90 year old mother is dying of congestive heart failure. When you have that condition, you don't get better. She is loosing muscle mass, she is withering and dying. She is not senile, she knows exactly what is happening. She is in pain and they have stopped all medication except for pain, anxiety and fluid buildup in the lungs.
The retirement community notified us that we had 30 days to vacate her apartment since she would not be leaving the hospice-like nursing facility.
That's the reality of it.
Lots of people have fantasies about death.

1. Death is not a being
2. You make way to many assumptions
3. You have no documented proof (nice try)
4. It is your responsibility to prove your theory, not others to disprove it

just because you can sense it doesn't mean its tangible (such as love and fear). just because its tangible doesn't mean it is a being (rocks and the wind are not beings). just because it is a being does not mean it can be fought or outwitted (god is a being and we have yet to even agree on His existence). all laws do not have flaws (following the ten commandments always results in benefit as it has been since they were made.)
