Good review link: http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/01/29/xp-vs-vista/
Besides that, I have two desktops running xp pro and xp media edition. When I ran a check on the microsoft website for these systems, both systems needed MAJOR patches, drivers, etc.
I went out and bought an hp pavilion dv9000 with Vista Ultimate built in. Runs like a champ!
Bottom line: Vista is great, if you want it, buy a kick butt pc loaded with the software from a major outlet.

The new operating system from Microsoft. It is an improvement from XP but nothing too big. There are still alot of drivers not available for printers, cameras, etc... Some say its not worth it and youll be happier with what you have now. Go test it out at some store on a new computer before making the switch. make sure you back up everything so as not to lose and important information. There are also still alot of errors with the system. Id wait a good long while before making the switch so microsoft can work out all the kinks.

Only if you have enough computer to be able to make good use of it. If you do not have enough computer then stay with XP.
You need minimum of one gigabyte RAM and two is even better. No less than two hundred gigabytes hard drive. More is better. A very good up o date graphics card. A very fast internet connection Duo core processar will be of a great help.
This Vista will run on computers with much less but the system will be very slow and you will get frustrated with it.
Stay with XP until you can get a computer that meedta and exceeds what Vista needs to run properly.

You mean "Give us the low down"? Down low is like "Keep it on the down low."
Anyway, Windows Vista is just advanced Microsoft stuff. It has more protective security. Apparently it asks you if you want to do something every time you do something on the internet. I don't know much about it.

Uh, it's worth BUYING, if that's the question.
It's Microsoft's newest operating system, the followup to Windows XP. I wouldn't upgrade to it without at least 1 GB of RAM, a good graphics card, and a 1.6 or higher GHz processor, though.
