So in other words, you don't just meet someone and fall madly in love with them in a year and declare it true love. True love is a love tested by life's challenges over time, love that has with stood true adversity and survived.

True love is all encompassing. True love between a man and a woman is beautiful. There is a huge difference between love and infatuation. Most people get married when they're only infatuated, and that's where they make the mistake. That's why so many marriages don't last. True love grows over time, there is no such thing as 'love at first sight'. When u truly love a person there is nothing u wouldn't do for them.

True love in my opinion, is respect for yourself and the people you are involved with, no matter the circumstances. Respect involves many factors, one being trust that is not betrayed. I wouldn't marry someone I didn't "Truely love" before hand.

True love to me means that you don't have to pretend to be nice, the person you love knows your hopes and fears and everything about you. He/she is supportive in every way. True love is loving someone so much that you couldn't live without them.
