I have two close friends who tend to make me feel bad. On a few occasions I have bought a shirt or something and they say that they were planning on buying it and can't believe I bought it, even though I had no idea, I felt so bad I returned tons of clothes they wanted. They ditch me all the time on plans we made days before and I wait around for them not to show up when I could be spending time elsewhere, but of course I act like it's fine. They also make me feel bad because I have good money, even though I always treat if we go somewhere and buy them nice gifts, and I never flaunt anything. We are young adults, but they act so childish and it hurts. I believe in being nice to others, but it always comes back to haunt me. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Thanks. :)

Why are you hanging out with these arrogant, viscious people? And why are you intimidated by their comments? Friends don't make you feel bad about being wealthy and don't abandon you when they've made plans. It's better to have no friends than to latch on to losers for companionship. Stop hanging out with these freaks, and make better friends.

I am the same way when it comes to treating people. Its good to be nice to others!!! I had the same problem with some of my friends, they took advantage of me being nice and ditched me all the time. Yet I still stuck up for them and forgave them for everything. But when it came down to it, they were never there for me. I ended up making friends with people who really appreciated me, and what I had to give as a friend! I think that you should move on and find somebody who truly appreciates what a good friend you are! And keep being nice to others it won't go unnoticed!!!!!! ;)

Best Wishes!!!!!!

If they're your friends they wouldn't do anything to make you feel bad.Let them know you're nice not stupid. You can be nice but when someone crosses a line, you have to let them know.People tend to think that they can take advantage of nice people.Talk them about how it makes you feel angry and sad, when they offend you in those ways.Get mad at them if you want, maybe that would show them that you can also be mean.
