Question, can someone from a different computer, get into yours and change things such as passwords,etc..?

If you did not give them the okay to access anything, or give them passwords or codes?

Is it easy to correct? Say they do.Can I go back and just keep changing the passwords and such?

It sounds like a 'HACKER". Yes they can change all your information. I had this happen to me, but they did not change passwords. I took my computer in and found out it the person "back-doored" into my system. They suggested I swipe my hard drive and reset all passwords and get a new bank account number. The person that hacked mine got all emails, pictures, web-cam, letters, journals, credit card, and bank info. They tried to use it as leverage to get $45K from me. A good computer repair place can run a diagnostic check on your computer and you might get lucky and get the IPP address of the "Hacker". That address can be traced by a cyber crimes unit at The Police Department.

From your local machine, there are many ways to strip the user account passwords, set up a key logger, and get your private information.

Its much more difficult to do this from another computer, remotely accessing yours, but very much possible.

change all your passwords to include at least 7 charicters in leangth and includes at least one number and special char like a symbol (!@#$%^&*). this is called a strong password and would very difficult for a successful "brute force" attack. (trying every possability until one works)

Never write down your passwords.
