I just got a laptop that is completely in German, even the Keyboard. It has windows xp on it. I have a windows xp disc myself. Can I just erase theirs windows and load mine? Do I need anything special for the keyboard? Any help would be extremely useful.

There are available German to English ( Bilingual )keyboard 'stickers '.at this website.

To change the "Language",
Goto the 'Start Button', Come up to Settings, Open "Control Panel" and Open "Regions and Language Settings".
Make your changes ,as needed. You may have to have the O/S disk, If the computer asks for it.

Another way is to Reformat and install English version of O/S.

Good luck.
