Ugh, yes, at first it was a total pain in the butt. I used to have to boot back into Windows XP just to sync my iPod. The latest update though, iTunes 7.1.1.5, seems to have fixed the majority of Windows Vista errors, my 4 GB 2nd Generation Nano works fine with it now.

There are still a few glitches here and there: CoverFlow runs very slowly, and when you first boot iTunes, it shows up as a black screen until you minimize and bring it back up.

Apple doesn't have an "official" Vista version of iTunes out yet, but 7.1 is pretty well compatible.

Drop me an IM if you've got more questions, I'm usually online even if it says I'm not (signed on as invisible).

My friend has Windows Vista and has downloaded iTunes and has an iPod nano and it works perfectly fine. Nothing is wrong with the software and the iPod itself
