It looked pretty real. My husband said it's most likely real. I just can't believe that they'd put that in a movie, though, knowing how offensive it'd be to some viewers, unless this was all before the protests against animal cruelty? I don't know, I just found it a bit disturbing (I know that was the point, but geez!). Anyway, I just wanted to see if anyone happened to know whether or not that a was real cow being beheaded.

It was real, an actual ritual done by the natives where they were filming.

The water buffalo (carabao in Filipino) that was slaughtered was real.

Why is it such a big deal? Cows are FOOD, FABRIC, and MILK. That's IT.
