i have a few questions on this subject, im so so so intrested, any help will be great.
1. any new ideas for street art, i mean somthing other than stivker, stencil, wood block and graffiti, or wheat paste posters.

2. is there in order or steps to how a throw-up or piece is made, it seems like these are done in layers you know, or is just plan old any way ya want?

3. is there a site with some good street art, where members who join can upload there own work and has good articles and helpful info?

4.i live in a small town, so unlike the city its not so easy to "paint the town red" without the usual hassle of being caught etc. any ideas of some good spots where the work can still be seen but isnt risky?

thanks to anyone who adds an answer, its appreciated.

Well how about one anwer for them all, first of all street art is truning up more and more in same town, and people who own bussiness are starting to let them do their work on the sides of their buildings as long as it is tasteful, thus it gives them a changes to experiment on real buildings, and also for the pupulic to see their work, and get some exporser. You know it can be any way, you can plan it out, or you can just let it flow with your brush, there really is no rule, and if you start to go and check out websites on it,and want to go and get ideas well then you are not using your own mind to creat, so keep that in mind too.

Hi, my name is Philip.
I just moved from Europe and now I live in Michigan...
I grew up with graffiti, here's the thing I started art when I was about 4 and by the age of 10 I started sketching and by the age of 11 I started graffiti,........................ and still doing it.

Electro graf, involves using magnetic paint to conduct electricity to LED's....
Appearing ink, which apears after 5 days, because of exposure to sunlight....
In general most new stuff in Street art is technology involving...

You sketch out/outline the piece, and then from there most of us writers do it differently, I actually do the background or the fillin first then I do the contours... it's not a set order.

A site... http://www.bombtheworld.net
http://graffiti.org
Check up graffiti studio too

Either find a wall you think you can piece find the owner and ask, ask anybody you know who has a wall that isnt important so you dont mess up (if its your first time...) or use your own wall... or make a big canvas or whatsoever...

I don't feel like answering all those questions...so I'll answer a few...
The best way to do throw-ups is to do the letters, fill them in, then outline it in another color

A good site/forum is puregraffiti.com
