This match has already happened. It was back in 2002 for the World Heavyweight Championship. RVD won by DQ after Triple H gave him a pedigree on the floor. (HBK kept the title)

RVD doesn't have what it takes to beat someone like HBK. Don't get me wrong, RVD is good, but he is lacking something that I can't put my finger on, that keeps him from moving to the next level.

If it were strictly a match with no outside interference (i.e. no DQ and no one interfering), it would be HBK. He had/has both the speed and agility with far superior ring skills. Even at his age now, he'll give Cena a run for his money.

back when i used to work for rob, besides another real ecw rematch with sabu. hbk is a match he would love to compete in, as long as it wasnt for storylines or a scripted match. an old school steal the show match
