You can tell when you have a bad rating by the little thumbs down sign by your answer, dearest. if ur answer sucked, it has a lot of thumbs down. if it didnt...it still might have a thumbs down. depends on the ppl giving the rating.

How do you tell if you've ever had a bad rating?? Gosh, I always try and give good answers, hope I didn't make anyone mad. Yikes!

Yes. Conversely, thumbs up make me want to strive on.
There is something I do that makes me less sad. I go back and see if other worthy answers are also receiving thumbs down, then I give thumbs up to each of those answers to even out the playing field.

If it's a question that begs for a snarky answer, I actually laugh when it gets a thumbs-down. Confused if it's a good question with a reasonable answer.
