im not promoting war or anything and im totally against war, but it has come to my realization that if one day Bush decides to take over the world, there is not much anybody can do about it. He already invaded iraq without the UNs' approval, so if he does decides to do that, theres not much u can do about it right?

My answer to just your first question was going to be--the Democrats are stopping him becasue they want to have the credit for doing it. Get Hillary in office and then do it.

After reading your addition, I would have to say that one country can not take over the whole world, ever. If America ever tried, every other country would join forces together and fight against us. All of them combine would take us out.

Not sure buddy.

I'd think more critically about who can stop him, the Chinese out number us 5:1. They can EASILY send enough troops for every man, woman, and child in North America and overtake us.

Maybe the real question is, what is stopping China from taking over the world? - They still can't mobilize.

At least not like other developed nations. But if you've read the news lately:
A recent RAND Corporation study states that People's Republic of China's defense spending is higher than the official number but lower than United States Department of Defense estimates. The defense spending of the People's Republic of China is estimated to be between 2.3-2.8% of China's GDP. This is 40-70% higher than official figures, but substantially lower than previous outside estimates. Chinese military spending nevertheless doubled between 1997 and 2003, nearly reaching the level of the United Kingdom and Japan, and it continued to grow with an annual rate of 10% during 2003-2005.

Some of you anti everything, negative, end of the world, stick your heads in the sand and hope someone else will protect you, passive, cowards...need serious help! You think your funny with your bashing but really you just kinda scare the rest of us. You just make the rest of us realize that you would never have the guts and courage to help in protecting our country and people,. You will never assist in any way with protecting the freedoms you so blatantly bash, make fun of and twist around in an attempt to be witty. But...you sure will always be there for a good old fashion bash fest whenever you are bored!

Incompetence. The man can't develop a plan for dominating the city of Baghdad, let alone the world. His erratic speech pattern is indicative of his sketchy, shallow thought process.

The military has already "bitten off more than it can chew". Recruiting is increasingly difficult.

The American people are fed up with Bush's bullshit.

The fiscal conservatives are tired of his reckless spending.

Those in the government who will be there after he is gone have already seen that he doesn't know what he's doing and are beginning to work against his ridulous plans.

The Republicans have seen that he does not have the confidence of the electorate and are applying increasing pressure so as not to eliminate all possibility of a Republican making it into the White House after the 2008 election.

Factually incorrect about the UN. The UN passed 17 resolutions demanding Saddam allow inspectors to inspect his WMD program.

ha! take over the world?! Bush isn't even smart enough to tie his own shoe! Besides, he has multiple other hurdles:

-Congress
-UN
-American People
-the other 100+ countries of the world
-the Democrats (we would never have let him take it over, when he was still in office)
-his own stupidity

Its not Bush thats behind it, hes a puppet. We are watching a big puppet show. Bush mentioned on TV several months ago how Americans are ready for a "New World Order". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_World_Order_(conspiracy)

Now we are looking at the "North American Union"? Thats just one step closer to a "world government". Europe has along with the US already taken several steps towards this.

Wake up y'all! It doesnt matter who is in the White House or Congress. We are sitting back watching a big show distracting us from reality, but look more closely. Why is the illuminati seal on our $1 bills? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati

one of these days when Americans realize we have a back bone like the Mexicans had when they came together as a group to protest(right or wrong).then yes we could stop him.but as long as Americans are on this kick,me,me,me,and don't stand together as a country,he will continue to rule us like we were in a Communist country.don't make the mistake of thinking he doesn't know this his self because he does.that's why he gets by with all the illegal stuff he continues to do to us.we are Americans, suppose to be the best country in the world.right now we are showing the world that we are scared of him and until the American people come together as a country he will continue to abuse us! just wait for Hillery she will tend to him,no doubt.the TV news and your own eyes
