Please explain. The most elaborate and cohesive answer gets 10 POINTS.

Not at all. If someone was apathetically ingnorant, that would suggest that they were aware that they were ignorant, did not care, but still had the option to fix their ignorance if they had the desire to do so. People who are apathetically ignorant usually think that their lack of knowledge, etc. is amusing and will not be bothered to change it.

Stuck up generally falls under the category of ignorant... as well as immature, and egotistical. But generally, to be stuck up, you must be either unaware of your ingnorant state and therefore have no knowledge of the need to change. (therefore just plain ignorant).. Or worse, you are stuck up, know you are ingnorant and stuck up, but like the image and actively try to keep it so (ingnorant by design).

Whew, that was a huge answer for a little question!

In a politically correct society, I would say that is an excellent term for stuck up.
I am not into elaborate and cohesive, I like short, sweet, and to the point, if I get two points instead of ten, so be it.

Stuck up meanings:
Glued to something above; anal retentive; bloody snobbish; something jammed up, ahem, somewhere; pseudo superior; better than thou attitude; legend in his/her own mind.
