The Senate has nothing to do with impeachment. The House votes to impeach, which requires 2/3, the Senate votes on whether to proceed with a trial, in which conviction also requires a 2/3 vote.

As long as Republicans can impeach the next democrat president they don't like without a majority vote in the Senate.

It requires a majority vote in the House to file the bill of impeachment, basically the indictment.
Then it takes a 2/3 vote of the Senate to convict.

SKIP G.........Yes Clinton Lied (got caught).. BUT he testified!!!!! Put that in your "Conservative Bag of Answers"
Chriszchris.. that was such an intelligent answer.. Clinton's filthy lies?? yes i can see a BJ is far more important then killing thousands of Americans under the false pretense of chasing the terrorists, wait a minute or was that to referee a civil war in Iraq? or maybe is there some other new reason I haven't heard yet? How bout repaying your campaign contributions with governmental contracts? Definitely more important then the "accidental shooting" that Chaney did that somehow was never investigated... and definitely far more important then answering the question on the Corruption in the Government.. You impressed me with your knowledge of the security threat of a BJ. Lets just leave the poor man alone.. obviously he has more important things to lie about! Like re-writing the Constitution!
haha why is it that everytime a conservative can't answer a question they bring back Bill Clinton and a BJ?? How bout opening your eyes, open your closed minds, turn off Rush, and listen to what is really going on..You might see what the rest of us sees and thats a corrupt government... Oh and I will assure you Bill Clinton has had more BJ's since then, so maybe that'll help you with your next answer.. But a little hint.. so have I and about every other man in america.. You might have gotten one too.. who knows...

Remember, Nixon was not impeached. He was forced to resign. Hopefully the same will happen to Bush and Cheney.

Do you have faith in Dick "the Master Marksman Quail Hunter" Cheney for president?
Think long and hard; it's better to wait out the year and a half.
