can a man from Ireland married in the USA to a citizen get a divorce from her without coming back to the US? Or can he legally divorce her from Ireland?

If she agrees to just let you sign the papers while you are in Ireland, then it probably is acceptable as long as you both agree to the provision of Maritial property, and neither of you are contesting it.

Mind the fact that I am not a solicitor, but...I am certain that the divorce could be handled through the post without the need for you to appear in the USA. At the same time, you would almost certainly need a lawyer in the state where she lives now. Be careful, for solicitors can be crooks too.

I think u can divorce her as long as she signs the papers. My parents divorce from US und Spain.

You can get married anywhere and it is recognized anywhere..
Same with divorce...
