Or if you drop some food that you are severing and you put it back on the plate, do you give that plate to the person you were serving or do you, yourself, take that plate? (I know you would give it to the person you were severing because you don’t like to sever people, right?)

Hey, why does everyone think that I work for some restaurant. I don't, the only people I serve are my brothers and sisters when my mom is not home. And yes I would gladly serve my oldest brother food from the floor. I once dropped some noodles on the floor, and he blow up and told me to throw them all away. I didn't though. And I would have given him the large dose of floor noodles if my mom didn't make me give them to her and myself.

As long as it is a dry food and the floor I've dropped it on isn't visibly dirty. So any snack food basically.

I personally wouldn't eat or serve anything dropped on the floor. I worked at a restaurant/bar years ago and caught the owner picking up a burger off the floor. She was putting it back on the bun until she looked up and seen me standing there and then she said she would have to make another one. I know Mel was going to serve that burger.

No, as a rule you do not eat food you dropped on the floor. If someone is serving you call them and let them know and usually they will give you another plate. bettyk

I used to work in a restaurant where they did this, I never really agreed with it, but it does happen. As a rule, I would not pick something up off of the floor and eat it, unless i could rinse it off. I would never server something to someone that I knew had been dropped on the floor.

I always eat all of the food that anyone drops on the floor. There is no reason for someone's dog to enjoy eating it.

me,
It depends on what it is I dropped.
If it's homemade pasta hanging to dry, and it slipped off the hanger...it's in the trash. Same with sandwiches.
A piece of hard candy...no problem, I rinse it and eat it. If it's something like a steak, I would rinse it and cook it for a few minutes and have it myself...I would not serve it to my guest.
Contrary to what you wrote...I DO like to 'sever' people.

properly it may nonetheless be as risky as touching the food. exceptionally after that 7-minute wreck in the janitor's closet. quite have floor food than masturbation food. i exchange into as quickly as recommended that maximum persons do no longer even wash their palms as quickly as they do the deed. think of roughly that the subsequent time you prefer to shake palms with one among your persons earlier lunch.

Not on MY floor. I need to mop. At work -- same thing --dropping anything on those floors is a science experiment waiting to happen.
