They are scared of signing up for a war they support--in face of eroding public support--so all they can do is sit back and insult anyone who is against Bush and the war.

It's a much better and safer profession, than putting your life on the line for a war you're all gungho for!

Your "chickenhawk" argument is false. Using the same logic, the only people who can be against murder and rape (and for law enforcement) can be police officers, and the only people who can have an opinion on fires are firefighters. And you can't speak out against slavery if you've never owned a slave or been one yourself.

Saying you support Bush and/or the global war on terror does not generate an obligation to fight in the war. That would be like me saying that since you obviously oppose Bush and/or the global war on terror, why aren't you in Iraq fighting alongside the terrorists?

This is just the weak-minded liberals' latest version of ad hominem attacks, just like when they used to cry that anyone who disagreed with them was racist/sexist/homophobic.
