Hello,
I have a very frustrating problem and some answers would be appreciated.
I live on a college campus and connect through wifi to access the internet. Normally everything is fine but when I go home for the weekends and comeback getting reconnected is hell =O.
The problem I get is this:
*I have Excellent signal Strength (wifi)
*but Limited or no connection (on my wireless)
*I can access the internet using my Ethernet port and connecting manually through a cable.
The problem seems I can't get my computer to use the WLAN (wifi) connection, it seems to think that only the Ethernet connection is available. Normally when i get this problem anywhere else I can just reset the router (on/off) but in my case (on campus) its built into the wall !
My wireless connection just sends data but doesn't receive any back (sent: 1,240 /received: 24)
Its not my firewall, I have restarted my comp many times. I have used the "repair" option, I have enabled/disabled all/one/both connections.

Normally it takes me 30mins-1hr of messing w/ everything and usually it works!
but its been 2hrs this time and nothing so far (:I
I cant make the "switch" to wifi.
I'm gonna roll back drivers but I'm extremely sure that isn't it either.
