When you're pregnant you carry a lot of water weight and naturally your body becomes very bloated. When you're sitting around for that long circulation becomes week and all the extra water goes to your feet which can be quite painful when they're that big. If you can try to stand up every hour or so and walk around for a minute. If your on the plane just walk to the back and then back to your seat. it will make your life a lot easier when you get off. good luck

Give it about two days to go away. I just took a trip a month ago, and the same thing happened. Not on the flight over, but on the flight back I was stuck between two big men and I had absolutely no room to move. It did take like two days to go away though. Keep in mind that this happens to lots of people who aren't preg either.

Elevate your feet. If you can reach them, check your calves all the way down to your toes for any new bruising or areas that feel hot to the touch. If you have either of these two symtoms, then you need to go to ER ASAP to rule out a blood clot. Otherwise rest, elevate your feet, soak them in cold water, increase your water intake and cut out all salt and salty foods from your diet especiall things like take-out food, cheese, and icecream.

its just b.c you didnt have them elevated...so when you sit for long periods of time the baby is sitting on nerves so it is cutting the blood supply to your legs..so be careful next time..good luck and congrats..

If this continues i think you should tell your doctor even though retaining fluid and swelling is pretty common. You should still tell your doctor because you don't want to develop toxemia
