I'm a lens wearer. I'd run saline over my eyes until the lens re-hydrated. Just a steady stream. One eye at a time.
Tears are oily and won't re-hydrate the lens. Drops are in and out.. hold your lid open, grab a big bottle of saline and just squirt a steady stream until your eye feels more comfortable. Use the whole bottle if you have to.
I'm sorry you're having trouble!

You have to (YES, YOU HAVE TO) hold your eye open, press down as hard as it takes and drag that puppy right down to where you can get ahold of it. It's painful, yes, especially if you aren't an experienced contact wearer. And leave them out for 24 hrs for your eyes to heal. Also - make sure the contact isn't on the iris of your eye when you grab it. Hurts like a You-Know-What if it suctions off your eye. (I actually made a "popping" sound once - OW)

This happens to me when I sleep in my contacts(I've worn contacts since 1997). I accidentally fell asleep with them overnight in 1998 and had to peel them off and go see my eye doctor...he made me wear glasses for a week so TAKE YOUR TIME! (My eye doctor says I have the most sensitive eyes he's ever seen.) If you put in drops and they're still too dry to get out wait a few minutes and try putting in more drops. It might take a few times doing this to get the contacts where they'll come out. If they're too dry to get out dont try alot to get them out....rubbing at them and your eye will just irritate your eyes. Be patient, I know it hurts but you just need to get the contacts moist to a certain point before you can get them out!

I would have tried all the things you did. I have always been able to peel them out.
They can rip easily in that state so you should be able to get them out.
Sounds kind of scary I would contact a specialist.
Good Luck
PS - I think crying would defeat the cause. The salt in your tears would further dehydrate the area.

Your eye doctor can give you a little rubber suction cup( Looks like a mini rubber plunger of sorts), it is small enough to set against your contact on your eye, the gently lift it off, please be careful when doing this and good luck.

Mine have gotten stuck in after napping, too. They usually pop out with some saline solution and a little rubbing. If you have to, you could try gently pushing the two edges together. Don't pinch, though, and be careful if you've got long nails!! Good luck

You should go to your optometrist and they have little suction cups (small) that they can pull them out of your eye. I had to do this once while on a travel trip. If it is after hours - you might try your urgent care facility.

My eye doctor told me NOT to pull then out if they are stuck, because you can actually tear off pieces of your cornea! Put drops in, and just don't try to take them out for a while and they will eventually loosen up. If not, go to your eye doctor.

I have had my contacts get a little dry and stick to my eyes. You just have to peel them off. There is really no other way. They should be allright. I would not suggest sleeping in them tonight, you need to get them out soon. hope this helps.

put a few drops of rewetting drops in them and blink a little. This should moisten your lenses so you can get them out!
