In this sentence, Ken is doing something right that no one will disagree with his decision. On the other hand, unethical means that it is not correct; it opposes the society, and it can sometimes be harmful. For example, "Killing innocent animals in a laboratory is unethical." In this case, killing animals is an unethical action, because it is not a right thing to do--numerous people will oppose and despise this action.
