Ok, so I know this is gross, but I am seriously trying to help my buddy out. His girlfriend has very unsightly dark hairs on her butt, back, and around her nipples (although I have not seen them, he complains quite frequently). She is very aggravated by them and wants to know is there any permanent way to remove the hair besides surgery like electrolyisis(zapping the hair follicles)? I have heard that bleach will destroy hair follicles, but we dont want to burn her skin off! Please only serious answers!

i have to say I agree with I Need Hep. The first question is to ask if it bother's the girl. She is really unfortunately the only person whose opinion that matters. If it doesn't bother her, then, unfortunately your friend is out of luck, shallow and rude and he doesn't deserve her in the first place.

If it does bother the girl there are a variety of options with varying levels of price and effectiveness ranging from bleaching, shaving, hair removal cream, laser surgery and electrolysis. Only the last two options are considered permanent.

I have been having laser treatment on my abs over the the last two years. I think I have had maybe 3 treatments. Hair is not gone, but down to a level where it does not bother me.

If the girl feels so strongly about her body hair, she can try bleaching. You can buy facial hair bleach at Wal-Mart or any pharmacy. I use these types of products, as I have darker facial hair around my upper lip. Using facial hair bleach will not burn off your skin, nor will it destroy the hair follicle. I have been using this type of product for over a year, so I definetly would have noticed this if it did. I also have one single dark hair on my breast near my nipple, which I usually pluck. But if there is more than just a few, maybe waxing would work better (and probably be quicker). Any of these methods could be easy solutions to her problem. Since it is almost impossible for her to see and reach her back and buttocks, make sure your friend is willing to help her when it comes time to bleach, pluck, or wax the problem hairs.

The only permanent way I know of is electrolysis. She can try plucking the hairs, it will eventually kill the follicle. Other than that, there are bleaches made especially for lightening unsightly dark hair, and there are hair removal cremes. I am guessing that shaving those places is not really an option. She may have to see a specialist for more options.

Ok a lot of women get these....use Nair for sensitive skin or pluck them, with Nair they will grow back lighter in color and softer and after a few more times of removing hair, you will barely be able to see them....with plucking, I wouldn't do that on the butt area, might be there all day...lol but seriously for the back area and the butt use wax or better NAIR for sensitive skin, I swear by that stuff, and it's nothing to be ashamed about; my mom has little black hairs that continue from her "side-burn" area down her neck, she plucks two times a week....

That is not the place to be using bleach. The best way to get rid of those hairs is plucking or lazer or waxing. None are permanent. Sorry.

uh, if it doesnt bother her, then he needs to get a life and worry about better things...but if it bothers her, she might want to try bleaching them...not by using bleach that you use to whiten your clothes with, but there is a hair bleaching kit, that you can buy at walmart and other places, and its a cream and it makes even the darkest hair aloooot less noticable, and alot of times unless ur RIGHT THERE you wont even know theyre there, other than that i dont think she should do anything, cause i wouldnt do anything with my hair other than that cause i wouldnt want to loose the feeling in my skin around the sight of hair

There are products in stores to remove hair, but not permanently.

Something like Nair.

I hear Nair works well. Though my buddy said his wife grabbed his balls with a handful and it started burning. Dont hold me responsible for any burning sensations!
