In many areas the MLS takes the photo and the posting is included in their monthly membership dues. For other websites it is often a real estate agent submitted photo used. The Real Estate book and Homes and Land accept submitted photos and will depending on the area sometimes take the photo themselves. It seem some of these "highly trained" marketing experts ( agents ) have yet to master the intricacies of operating a digital camera. It disgusts me when agents dont take a decent photo, often that itself would have been all they really did to earn their commission.

REALTORS do not pay to upload photos, they are simply LAAAZZZZY when they don't!!!! On the buyer's agent side, it is extremely irritating when others do not load photos- it's pure laziness.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
You asked if REALTORS would use a photographer and the answer is maybe. There are services out there that do the photography for us for a fee but they also offer virtual tours (panoramic photos digitally pieced together) and load them all onto the web for us. So it exists; just check out virtual tour sites for REALTORS. Remember, REALTORS pay a lot of money for marketing already so if your fee can be competitive, you have a shot.

You can upload a few onto the MLS website, however on realtor.com only one will show up unless the realtor has paid extra for extra photos and more benefits of realtor.com.

Different cameras also are different when doing photos and uploading them. Ever realtor has a different camera and when the photos get blown up they get distorted if it is not a good camera.

Also alot of photos are provided by the seller, they are the photos the seller wants to use and sometimes the sellers camera is not a good one either.

Wow. This happened ages ago. Yes, they are real. Her publicist said that "Miley was just having fun, and didn't realise the full extent of her actions". There are other ones as well. I think she has pregnant-diva-16 year old potential, but then again is it really that big? Everyday teenagers do that. It's just worse because she's famous. She's really Christian, and is always saying she loves God and she believes in staying "pure" until marriage.

My realtor took the pics herself with her digital camera and they were awful but by the time they were posted she said it was too late to change them.
