to NOT attend a funeral?? my dad didn't attend his best friends funeral cause he said he couldn't get the night off.

I've said I just didn't want to go. Not because I didn't have respect but I can't handle funerals I'm the person who sits in the back laughing instead of crying because I don't know how to show my emotions and I want to cheer people up when they are down. The fact of the matter is once they are dead they are dead do you really think they notice if your at the funeral or not?? It's just causes pain to the living!

one of my best friends died and i said i went to the wrong funeral home but really i just couldnt handle seeing him dead.

i didnt go to my grandpas funeral cause he was very cruel to me...so i told my parents he didnt deserve my time
