I would just like to know how much money it would cost to "fit in" completely.
She has a 4.0, takes community college classes, has 1500+ hours of community service and doesn't have a car or anything.. has been working her whole life and has taken on many adult problems.
She earned a full-ride scholarship so we have money to spend so that she can make the most of her experience and have fun/live the good life for a bit (she studies a lot and has had to take on many adult respoonsibilities)!

Teenager's are not rich. Parents are. This is an important difference.
Now, the question on what a teenager needs at boarding school. Most schools have guidelines that they can share with your family. It is realy dependent on location - for example, a student in NYC will need more money than someone in Salt Lake City.

Well, I guess you could call me a rich teenager...
my allowance, is $15 per month and, I have a credit card and I can spend as much as I want, as long as I don't make my mom go broke cuz she pays for it...
I don't even do any chores or anything, we have a maid who comes once a week for that....

I dunno how much can this person spend... or what can she buy exactly...
Do a little research first to make sure that there isn't a ton of drugs etc to buy and then I'd say probably about 300-500 per week...
I spend a ton of money so that's pretty average for me.

for a month...700 dollars well thats what my friends parents gave her, plus there credit card. She was allowed to use it anytime. But be careful with that because she was constantly taking us all out to eat with it.
