robbed?? if so where, when, and what, and how long did it take for you to realize it... did you get your stuff back??

When I was a pizza guy in Nashville, Tn. I was robbed 3 different times back in the late 80's and early 90's. It doesn't take long to realize it when somebody points a gun at you and demands your money and your wallet. No I did not get my stuff back. And it messed up my mind for awhile. A fellow worker not only got robbed one night, but they told him to get in his car and they all were going for a 'ride'. Very lucky for him that for some unknown reason his car just quit running, and the robbers took off on foot. After they left, the car started. And he went back to the pizza place,went through the ordeal of police reports,then quit. Nobody could blame him.

Yes. I was working 3rd shift and when I came home in the morning I noticed someone had thrown a rock through the window next to my door. At the time I was staying in a camper trailer (It was summer and it was fun). Anyway, I alerted the police and they were suppose to patrol the campground that night. When I got back from work the next morning my door was open and all my rock t-shirts, my leather jacket, my tapestries, and my entire cassette collection (about $1,000 worth) was stolen. I did the research on who did it, found out where they were and the cops never did anything about it. Sometimes I wish I had told the cops to meet me where I knew the person was, then maybe I would have gotten it all back. But, everything happens for a reason I guess. It could have been worse. He could have broke in while I was there.

I came home from work with a headache so was lying on my bed. It wasn't until about half an hour later, that I realized everything on my dresser was rearranged. I eventually discovered that all my jewelry had been stolen from my bedroom. I filed a claim with my insurance company and got dollars to replace but never have any piece been found or returned. It really scared the whole family. It's a terrible thing to have happen and leaves you feeling so violated.

yes , was robbed of all our money at the lake. some guy knocked the window out and took the stuff off the seat. about and hour to realize it. 20 years ago.

House was robbed twice and no we did not get out stuff back. Insurance paid off before the cops caught them. However, we could have bought the property by blind auction from the insurance co. OR we could return the money they paid us and the items would be ours.

Yes, this January my pocket book was stolen from me as I was sitting in the public library reading at a table. I chased after the man as he ran out of the library. I yelled all the way,
hey somebody stop that kid (he is 18). I was able to get a lot
of people's attention on the way as i continued to yell as I chased him. He was not too smart as he ran down the road that the police station was located on. I got my PB back the same day. The guy served 30 days in jail.

oh ya, Ive had a sterio stollen from my car, a case of oil from the back seat, Tapes & cds stollen while I watched in amazment. I turned the porch light on and the guy ran away. In broad daylight my window was smashed in so someone could still a cigarette case that looked like a wallet. That all was between the ages of 18-22. Its been 15 years since all that happened and it was mostly apt living.

i was robbed 2 weeks ago , i was stayin at my cousins house and some guy that was over there stole my wallet, i had my id in there ,15 dollars and all these pictures of my family , i know i won't get it back , cause nobody can find the guy now .

I'd almost gotten rob... i was sleeping the basement and i heard banging against my window... I looked up there was a man i seen him straight in the face and ran upstairs.. I don't think he notice me it was pretty dark in the basement lucky for that... my dad called the police and my dad went outside and we think he gotten scared away... we didn't get anything stolen... but he used my mom glass oramint of a girl sitting on a brench her head he was using to try to get in.. that's only thing that we lost..... but my mom loved that oramint...
