I hope that you are not asking how to thread the needle on a sewing machine. That would be a bit difficult to explain here. But if you want some tips on how to thread a needle:
1) Put white behind the needle
Whether you’re threading a sewing machine needle or a hand sewing needle, white behind the needle makes the eye much more visible. Use maybe an index card
2) Cut the thread with sharp scissors
3) Cut the thread at an 45-degree angle
4) Stiffen the thread with saliva or bees wax
5) Use a needle threader
6) Solving clumsy hands, consider using tweezers
7)Try a bit of moisture on your thumb behind the needle. The moisture works like a magnet to draw the thread through the eye of the needle.
8) Use an eye that matches the thread size

For a hand needle: wet the thread, I put the tip in my mouth to wet it, and then carefully poke it though the hole (the eye). I actually end up needling my thread...I bring the needle to the thread by holding the needle in my right hand and pushing the eye over the thread.
On maching: pretty much same concept except the needle doesn't move. Once the needle is on the machine, take the thread from the spindle and follow the little arrows that should be on the machine telling you where to put the thread. Usually have to go round a button and down through a split, through a loop, and then thread the needle by pushing it through from the front towards the back and pull the thread out bit. Then rotate the wheel so the needle goes down to catch the bobbin thread, and rotate it back up and grab the bobbin thread and pull it out.

I am presuming that you are talking about a sewing machine because a regular needle is very obvious.
After you have hooked it on the top thread guide part, position it between the thread guide roller thingy that has numbers in it, pull down, hook it to the moving thread take up lever right under it, bring it back up again, thread it through the metal hook that goes in and out by rolling the hand wheel. The thread is threaded left going right.
On the needle itself, the thread goes right to left. Pull the thread behind the feed dog (the little foot looking part)

On a sewing machine? There should be arrows drawn on your machine. It is difficult to explain in writing. Move your needle up using the manual wheel until the front hook is up. Get your thread from the bobbin into that hook, go down. There should be a small metal hook somewhere above the needle, get you thread into it before going through the needle hole. The get it below the foot. Something like that.

do you mean on a sewing machine? or just a regular needle and thread?
if it's just a normal needle and thread,, wet the thread and twist it a little bit,and put it thru the really tiny tiny hole on the needle.
Double it over and then tie the knot on the end.
LOL
